I’m really rather excited about this addition to Top Man Jeremy’s exhibition Making Summer Bearable – it’s a playground for bears! It was made especially by a VERY clever friend of Jeremy’s called Mike.
There is a button which all the children can press, and when you press it, the bears play… some are on little skateboards, some are on a see-saw, and some drive little cars. If you look carefully, you can even see a cheeky little bear peeping out of the castle window!
I made sure that the nice museum people took a picture of me waving – I look jolly splendid, don’t you think?
I have to admit, that when I first saw it, I felt a little sad that I couldn’t fit into the playground. But, when I saw the teddies all whizzing about on their scooters, skateboards and see-saws, it made me think that I might get a bit dizzy, being over 110 years old. So now I’m content to watch the little bears – they do make me smile with their silly antics!
Until next time,
Toby the Bear
